HISTORY
Tri -Turf Sod is owned and operated by Jason and Tina Pooler. We started the business back in 1991 with two partners. My dad Carl (with lots of help from momma Georgia) and my brother Mike. We planted 5 acres of Tif way II Bermuda back behind my dad’s place. We are up to 1,400 acres of Bermuda, Fescue and Zoysia now. Tina and I, along with our two boys Jacob and Preston bought them out in October of 2008. Jacob has sold sod since he was 5 to his Bus Driver, Teacher and his Baseball Coach! While the family has adjusted to changing economic and environmental conditions along the way and dedicating to producing the highest quality product to our customers. Tri-Turf Sod specializes in supplying to Golf Courses and Athletic Field Contractors and we do many jobs with Home Builders and Commercial Builders all over the states of Tennessee and Kentucky. We also install and deliver to Residential homes. You can also call ahead and pick-up whatever quantity you need from our Paris farm. If you need a few pallets or a truck load, The staff in the office will be happy to serve your needs
Jason is over all of the sales and installation of commercial and residential. We have all the programs to do any take off on your next project. FARM STAFF
The production staff at Tri-Turf Sod includes mostly local people, that have been with us ranging from 5 to 20 years. These people along with many other experienced, dedicated and well- trained personnel take care of all aspects of production including the land preparation, planting, spraying herbicides, insecticides, fertilizer and fungicide applications, irrigation, insect and disease scouting, weed scouting, mowing, equipment maintenance and repair as well as harvesting.
SALES STAFF
The sales staff at Tri-Turf Sod is led by Jason Pooler. We are also very lucky to have John Shannon on staff, who has been with us since 2012 and holds a master’s degree from Murray State University in agriculture with an emphasis in horticulture. John is responsible for making sure the needs of our regular commercial accounts are being met, as well as cultivating new accounts, and dispatching our installation crews.

DELIVERY STAFF
While producing the sod at Tri-Turf Sod is one challenge, delivering the sod when and where the customer needs it is another challenge. Our delivery staff consists of well- trained and experienced CDL drivers that meet the criteria set forth by Federal Motor Carrier Regulations. They are expected to communicate with the customers regarding the details of specific delivery timing and placing the sod pallets and rolls as requested, if possible. On any given day these drivers may be found delivering sod anywhere from Memphis, TN to Knoxville, TN and Paducah, KY to Bowling Green, KY. It is only with experienced and dedicated drivers that we are able to serve such a broad area.
INSTALLATION STAFF
When coming to installing your next lawn the employees at Tri- Turf Sod will blow you away. Moving topsoil to finish grading, hydroseeding to laying new sod, these guys will make you the envy of the neighborhood. Our foreman’s have been with us ranging from 3 to 15 years. The rest of their crew members have been with us from 3 to 11 years. You will be totally impressed with their professional installation.
